In the spring of 2001, Cheri's career came to a crossroads and not knowing what she wanted to do in her life she turned to photography, full time. She took a few night classes and learned everything she could to better her skills on the technical side. Her passion grew daily as she explored and experimented. She finally found her niche in portraiture. In October of 2004, Cheri was awarded with a National Accreditation in Studio Portraiture by the PPOC Association (Professional Photographers of Canada).
